Job Summary
Our client, a global leader in the design and manufacture of consumer and safety products, is seeking an AI Program Manager for their digital technology team. The AI Program Manager will lead enterprise AI program execution from use-case intake and prioritization through delivery, adoption, and benefits realization. This role manages cross-functional AI initiatives, coordinates business and technical stakeholders, supports AI platform rollouts, and provides executive-level reporting on portfolio status, risks, dependencies, and business value.
Responsibilities
AI Portfolio & Program Management
- Own the enterprise AI use-case intake, prioritization, and portfolio tracking process.
- Evaluate use cases based on business value, ROI, readiness, and strategic alignment.
- Lead AI project tracking, status reporting, RAID management, dependency mapping, and schedule management.
- Coordinate sprint planning, stand-ups, backlogs, and delivery workstreams across technical and business teams.
- Develop executive and board-level reporting, including portfolio status, risks, decisions, and realized benefits.
- Establish and track expected versus realized business value for AI initiatives.
AI Platform & Delivery- Coordinate implementation and rollout of AI platforms including AWS Bedrock, Microsoft 365 Copilot, GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, and Copilot Studio.
- Coordinate AI platform dependencies across architecture, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and third-party partners.
- Drive delivery of AI solutions and integrations from development through deployment and adoption.
- Coordinate user provisioning, environments, onboarding, usage tracking, and early-adopter programs.
Governance, Risk & Vendor Management- Coordinate AI initiatives with Legal, HR, Cybersecurity, and GRC to address policy, data, regulatory, security, and responsible-AI requirements.
- Support AI budgeting, forecasting, cost management, and chargeback activities.
- Manage AI and consulting vendors, including SOWs, change orders, deliverables, escalations, and contractor onboarding.
- Support recruiting and evaluation of contract program-management and technical resources.
Change Management & Adoption- Lead AI enablement initiatives, including AI Champions programs, training, communications, and user education.
- Develop user guides, training materials, and feedback mechanisms to support adoption.
- Translate technical AI initiatives into clear business value and executive-level communications.
Requirements- 10+ years of IT program/project management experience, including 3+ years managing AI or emerging-technology programs.
- Demonstrated experience implementing and scaling enterprise AI platforms such as AWS Bedrock, Microsoft 365 Copilot, or similar technologies.
- Experience with responsible-AI practices, data-access controls, and AI adoption management.
- Strong experience with Agile/Waterfall methodologies, RAID management, dependency tracking, scope/change control, budgeting, forecasting, and vendor management.
- Experience operating in high-ambiguity, fast-changing environments with the ability to independently drive programs forward.
- Strong executive communication skills, including C-suite presentations, concise status reporting, and decision documentation.
- Experience with tools such as Jira/Azure Boards, MS Project/Planner, SharePoint, Power BI, Excel, and advanced PowerPoint.
- Cybersecurity program experience strongly preferred.
- Strong ability to translate complex AI and technology initiatives into business outcomes and value.
