Job Description:

Shift Time: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Location: AHU Welcome Center: 600 Wilkinson St., Orlando, FL 32803

Develops and oversees graduate student recruitment programs, including daily operations and strategic assessment. Designs and implements marketing and outreach strategies to promote UIC Business graduate programs. Collaborates with the marketing team to execute communication plans and grow the prospective student pipeline. Creates and manages customized marketing materials for prospective applicants. Leads all recruitment initiatives, including on-campus events, mock classes, webinars, and participation in external fairs and forums (up to 30 per semester. Serves as the primary admissions contact and liaison for corporate and joint degree partnerships, delivering presentations and representing the college in meetings. Acts as the main point of contact for prospective students, ensuring a smooth and professional admissions experience. Utilizes application systems to extract data and generate reports to track enrollment trends and progress toward targets. Oversees the Student Ambassador team and coordinates prospective student visits and information sessions. Leads departmental operations and manages the budget in alignment with the University's mission and strategic goals. Establishes, evaluates, and maintains departmental policies and procedures in compliance with institutional and regulatory standards. Contributes to the development and execution of the department's strategic plan and key initiatives. Hires, develops, and coaches staff by setting clear expectations, offering regular feedback, and addressing performance issues as needed. Collaborates across departments on university-wide initiatives and participates in committees and community engagement efforts. Represents the department in internal and external meetings, serving as a liaison to academic, corporate, community, and governmental stakeholders. Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Strong organization skills [Required]

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills [Required]
  • Experience with Customer Relations Management (CRM software [Required]
  • Effective oral and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information in understandable terms to all levels of staff [Required]
  • Effective computer skills, particularly Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, Excel, and Salesforce [Required]
  • Ability to work in a matrix-management environment to achieve organizational goals [Required]

Education:

  • Bachelor's [Required]
  • Master's [Preferred]

Field of Study:

  • in business, education or related field
  • in higher education or related field

Work Experience:
