Job Summary (List Format) Scrum/Flow Master (DHHS ITD)
- Serve as Scrum Master or Kanban Flow Master, coaching teams and leadership in Agile frameworks including Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe.
- Guide teams to become self-organizing, cross-functional, and accountable, supporting them in achieving Sprint plans and facilitating Agile ceremonies/events.
- Remove impediments and resolve issues outside of the team's control to ensure successful delivery.
- Lead planning and execution for development and delivery of one or more software products to a high standard.
- Collaborate effectively with Product Owners, Developers, Stakeholders, and other Scrum/Flow Masters.
- Execute Agile transformation strategies as defined by the Agile Transformation Coach and team.
- Foster a healthy Agile team culture focused on customer and business value.
- Manage and assist with requirements gathering, design, development, and implementation of C ram/Java web applications, interfacing with diverse internal/external systems.
- Use Agile principles to resolve backlog items, ensuring deliverables meet requirements and quality standards.
- Facilitate conflict resolution and support team/business decision-making, ensuring active Product Owner involvement.
- Estimate work effort, refine prioritized backlogs, and monitor progress using JIRA and other tools.
- Utilize strong organizational, analytical, facilitation, and communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Support risk and business impact analysis and reporting.
- Promote stakeholder buy-in and manage data for actionable insights about the project portfolio.
- Apply leadership, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills to enhance team performance.
- Employ hands-on experience in software development (Java/.NET/C#) and SQL for technical understanding and troubleshooting.
- Utilize tools such as MS Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and JIRA for project and workflow management.
- Preferred: Hold Scrum Master/Kanban/SAFe certifications and have knowledge of DevOps practices.
