Work you'll do
We are seeking an Agile Project Manager Contractor to support the execution of complex technology initiatives for a client in New York City. This role will coordinate cross-functional teams, monitor delivery progress, manage dependencies, facilitate stakeholder communications, and support initiatives involving AI, GenAI, machine learning, data, automation, and advanced analytics.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Coordinate end-to-end delivery activities across complex technology programs.
- Establish and maintain project plans, milestones, timelines, dependencies, and deliverables.
- Facilitate collaboration across business, technology, data, product, and vendor teams.
- Organize working sessions, status meetings, planning activities, and stakeholder forums.
- Track program risks, issues, decisions, dependencies, and action items through resolution.
- Support AI and advanced technology initiatives across: Model development, Data readiness and dependencies, System integrations, Testing and validation, Governance and controls, Deployment, Production readiness
- Prepare concise status updates and executive communications covering progress, risks, decisions, and next steps.
- Identify delivery challenges and coordinate appropriate follow-up actions.
- Support Agile ceremonies, planning cycles, and other technology delivery activities.
- Maintain clear documentation and promote consistent delivery practices across workstreams.
- Adapt priorities and delivery approaches in response to changing business and technology requirements.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Approximately 6+ years of experience in project delivery, program delivery, technology delivery, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience coordinating complex technology initiatives involving multiple stakeholders.
- Strong organizational, facilitation, communication, and prioritization skills.
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams, timelines, and dependencies simultaneously.
- Strong executive communication skills, with the ability to explain technical topics clearly and concisely.
- Experience identifying, documenting, and tracking risks, issues, decisions, and dependencies.
- Experience with Agile and other technology delivery methodologies.
- Familiarity with project and delivery management tools.
- Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous, fast-paced, and rapidly evolving environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Must be based in New York City and available to work on-site at the client office an average of three days per week.
The expected pay range for this contract assignment is $55 - $60 per hour will vary based on skills, experience, and location and will be determined by the third-party whose employees provide services to Deloitte.
