The Wonder Years Learning Center in Wilmington, MA is looking for a nurturing and passionate Afternoon Infant Teacher or Assistant Teacher to join their team! Responsibilities:
  • Provide attentive, hands-on care for infants in a safe and nurturing classroom environment
  • Support daily infant routines including feeding, diapering, napping, and sensory play
  • Implement age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, social, and physical development
  • Communicate daily updates and milestones to parents and guardians
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and developmentally stimulating classroom
  • Collaborate with lead teachers and staff to support individualized infant care plans
  • Follow all licensing, health, and safety regulations for infant care
Requirements:
  • Experience working with infants in a childcare, daycare, or early education setting preferred
  • Early Childhood Education (ECE) coursework or degree is a plus
  • Warm, patient, and nurturing demeanor with a genuine love for infant care
  • Ability to work afternoon hours reliably and consistently
  • Strong communication skills with both children and parents
  • Current or willingness to obtain CPR and First Aid certification
  • Must pass required background checks per Massachusetts childcare licensing standards
