About the Role:The Wonder Years Learning Center in Wilmington, MA is looking for a nurturing and passionate Afternoon Infant Teacher or Assistant Teacher to join their team! Responsibilities:- Provide attentive, hands-on care for infants in a safe and nurturing classroom environment
- Support daily infant routines including feeding, diapering, napping, and sensory play
- Implement age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, social, and physical development
- Communicate daily updates and milestones to parents and guardians
- Maintain a clean, organized, and developmentally stimulating classroom
- Collaborate with lead teachers and staff to support individualized infant care plans
- Follow all licensing, health, and safety regulations for infant care
Requirements:- Experience working with infants in a childcare, daycare, or early education setting preferred
- Early Childhood Education (ECE) coursework or degree is a plus
- Warm, patient, and nurturing demeanor with a genuine love for infant care
- Ability to work afternoon hours reliably and consistently
- Strong communication skills with both children and parents
- Current or willingness to obtain CPR and First Aid certification
- Must pass required background checks per Massachusetts childcare licensing standards
