    Overview
    We are seeking a dedicated and passionate instructor to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will foster a positive learning environment, inspire students, and support their academic and personal growth. This role requires a commitment to the development of each child, utilizing effective teaching strategies and classroom management techniques to create an engaging and inclusive atmosphere for all students.

    Duties

    • Deliver fun, interactive chess lessons using the provided curriculum
    • Manage a classroom of up to 16 students.
    • Provide individual support and encouragement to students of varying skill levels.
    • Facilitate friendly matches and oversee chess-related activities.
    • Maintain attendance and communicate with program coordinators and school staff.
    • Utilize first aid knowledge as necessary to ensure the safety and well-being of students.
    Qualifications

    • Proven experience working with children in various capacities such as tutoring, childcare, or sports coaching.
    • Strong understanding of childhood development principles and behavior management strategies.
    • Background in early childhood education is preferred but not required.
    • Ability to create an inclusive classroom environment that accommodates diverse learners.
    • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students and families.
