Johnson Service Group, a nationwide staffing company is looking for Project Engineer someone with 5+ years of experience operating in an Aerospace and Defense or similar environment. Candidate must have proven experience in Project Engineering. This is a Temp-Direct job in Valencia for an Aircraft company.
Pay Rate: $72.00 HRResponsibilities:- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and specifications, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer needs.
- Develop and manage project execution, including proposal support, requirements analysis, system design, integration and testing, and verification/validation activities.
- Lead and support Project Engineering initiatives, ensuring adherence to project schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
- Effectively manage external customers, representing company in accordance with business objectives.
- Update and maintain project schedules, developing mitigation plans when required and ensuring projects are compliant to schedule and technical requirements.
- Drive New Product Introduction efforts, including design for manufacturability and assembly (DFMA) considerations.
- Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to resolve roadblock execution when required.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including requirements, project schedule, design specifications, design review artifacts, test plans and procedures, and user manuals.
- Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices relevant to companies Enidine technologies.
This position requires access to United States Export Controlled information.
Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
- 5+ years of experience operating in an Aerospace and Defense or similar environment.
- Proven experience in Project Engineering.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Project and requirements management systems.
- Strong knowledge of Project Engineering principles, including requirements management and verification, customer management, product design and development phases, integration and testing activities, verification/validation, and risk mitigation.
- Familiarity with New Product Introduction processes, including Design for Manufacturability and Assembly (DFMA) principles.
- Solid understanding of manufacturing and production environments.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to quickly identify and resolve technical issues.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet project deadlines.
- Demonstrated high degree of Emotional Intelligence
Knowledge of industry regulations and standards such as ASTM, ISO, and SAE is a plus
