Aerospace Multi-Site Facilities and EHS Manager

Picture your day starting with a walk-through of three bustling aerospace manufacturing sites—each running plating and chemical processing lines, punch presses, heat treat and blasting cells, NDT inspection areas, CNC machining centers, and final assembly. You review CMMS dashboards over coffee, reshuffle a preventive maintenance window to protect a critical production schedule, and huddle with the EH&S Specialist to finalize a chemical storage audit plan. By afternoon, you’re signing off on an equipment install, checking contractor permits, and closing the loop on documentation so every spec, diagram, and compliance log is updated and audit-ready.

What You Drive Every Day

Facilities & Maintenance Leadership

• Plan, schedule, prioritize, and supervise maintenance for machine tools, electrical systems, buildings, and grounds across multiple sites.
• Organize, direct, and guide maintenance personnel performing repairs, modifications, and preventive maintenance activities.
• Build and execute preventive and predictive maintenance programs that cut downtime and extend equipment life.
• Coordinate closely with production and operations to align maintenance with manufacturing schedules and minimize disruptions.
• Maintain complete documentation: equipment specifications, drawings/diagrams, maintenance histories, and compliance logs.
• Plan and manage facilities projects including equipment installations, upgrades, and infrastructure improvements.
• Oversee vendors and contractors to ensure work is executed safely, on time, and within budget.

Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S)

• Lead EH&S programs to maintain full compliance with OSHA, EPA, and relevant state/local requirements.
• Implement and sustain safety policies, procedures, and training across all operations, with direct support from the EH&S Specialist.
• Ensure robust systems for the handling, storage, and disposal of hazardous materials, including chemicals used in plating and processing operations.

What You Bring

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field preferred.
• 7+ years in facilities, maintenance, and EH&S within a manufacturing environment.
• 3–5+ years of leadership or supervisory experience.
• Background in aerospace manufacturing or other highly regulated industries strongly preferred.
• Working knowledge of skilled trades: plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and air conditioning.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Strong command of maintenance systems, industrial equipment, and facility infrastructure.
• Deep familiarity with EH&S regulations (OSHA, EPA, hazardous materials handling).
• Hands-on experience using CMMS to plan, schedule, and track work.
• Proven ability to juggle multiple priorities in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
