    Description

    The Advising Team Coach is responsible for assessing and coaching the school advisors’ performance to meet key performance metrics on a weekly and monthly basis. This is executed by data monitoring, reviewing recorded calls, and real-time coaching throughout the day. In partnership with the Assistant/Associate Director, the Advising Team Coach ensures team members contribute to school-specific goals assigned by university leadership.

    Work Location: Virginia Beach, VA

    Salary: $45,000 annually

    Essential duties:

    • The Advising Team Coach is assigned a specific team of Advisors to coach and hold accountable for their performance goals.
    • Trains him/herself in program knowledge, system knowledge, and best practices in customer service and Advising. Then he/she develops training presentations and activities to help Advisors grow in these areas.
    • Analyzes data, identifies performance gaps, and provides feedback to Advisors in real time and in routine one-on-one meetings.
    • Documents daily, weekly, and monthly feedback to team members to demonstrate a well thought out plan of action and individualized approach to leadership.
    • Prepares additional training for the team and models professional standards that will bring the team to a higher level of Christian professionalism.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's Degree Required
    • 6+ Months in Enrollment Management or Equivalent

    Candidates must have:

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Proven ability to coach/motivate a team to performance metrics
    • Ability to remain level-headed in a high-pressure environment
    • Excellent problem-solving/analytical skills
