Admissions Coordinator - Full Time - Phoenix, Arizona

 

We are seeking an Admissions Coordinator to join our team of passionate patient caregivers!

Qualifications:

Required Skills:

  • One (1) year experience in Business Office or Admissions Office in a medical setting preferred.
  • OR any equivalent combination of education and experience.

 

Additional Qualifications/Skills:

  • Ability to maintain quality and safety standards.
  • Demonstrates general computer skills including: data entry, word processing, email, and record management.
  • Effective organizational and time management skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain proper levels of confidentiality.
  • Ability to work closely and professionally with others.

 

Responsibilities:

Responsible for coordinating with patients and their families to ensure all admission requirements to the facility are met, and verifies insurance coverage. Acts as a liaison to managed care companies, facilitating admissions, hospital returns, and referral source.  Integrates the hospital’s mission and “Guiding Principles” into daily practice.
