Class Summary

Job Description

The Administrative Support Associate II provides customer-focused administrative and operational support for the Conference Center, Auditorium, and other shared spaces of the County Justice and Administration and Innovation Square buildings. This position supports facility operations, assists with access and security-related processes, and contributes to a welcoming environment for staff and the public.

Essential Duties

  • Schedules appointments for the Conference Center, Auditorium, and other shared spaces of the County Justice and Administration and Innovation Square buildings
  • Coordinates the room set-up and services needed for a successful event
  • Maintains the data of the Card Access System, prepares and prints badges, and generates reports as needed
  • Provides administrative backup and performs other functions as needed
  • Directs the visiting public to their proper destination and answers general questions

Grade

The grade for this position is B21(1). Salary will be dependent on education and experience.

Effective 4/11/2023, this position is eligible for the Employee Referral Program.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma and
  • Two years of administrative support or related office experience or
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job

Preferred Qualifications in addition to the above minimum qualifications

  • Experience with badge access systems and work-related event scheduling
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
