Position Summary Information

Job Description Summary

The Student Administrative Assistant will help support program operations 8 hours a week by contacting community partners, updating records in the CORE database, and assisting with data entry and reporting. Ideal for students who are organized, detail-oriented, and enjoy communication.

Responsibilities
  • Calling chain and institutional pharmacies to recruit sites and preceptors
  • Calling previous preceptors who haven't sent us availability recently to renew interest; updating their contact information in CORE ELMS software
  • Helping us assess Introductory Pharmacy Practice Experience (IPPE) availability over time
  • Calling elective preceptors to collect learning objectives and student activities
  • Pull other data from CORE and generate QI report
Required Qualifications
  • Current Undergraduate or Graduate student in good academic standing
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with professional phone and email etiquette
  • Comfortable making outreach calls to pharmacy sites in a professional manner
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word, and the ability to learn and navigate database systems such as CORE ELMS
  • Ability to collect, organize, and summarize data for basic quality improvement reporting
  • Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Desired Qualifications
  • Prior experience in a clerical, administrative, or data entry role
  • Familiarity with pharmacy practice settings or health professions education
  • Experience using CORE ELMS or other student management systems
