Plans and performs a variety of complex administrative and technical support duties. Provides assistance to the Equipment Depot Manager and handles personnel documentation and transactions. Manages Equipment Depot office and parts room operations. Plans, supervises,and assists personnel performing a variety of standard and complex management support and administrative service activities. Supervises personnel providing administrative responsibilities for Radio Maintenance. Personnel coordinator for Equipment Depot to include initiating personnel documents and transactions, new hires, training, insurance benefits, workers compensation cases, work distribution, employee evaluations, and continuous improvements to office procedures. Advises Equipment Depot Manager on personnel matters. Maintains personnel records and files. Prepares payroll in HMMS System and STARS to include payroll Certification Report. Purchase Card Liaison for Equipment Depot. Assesses equipment parts and materials needed to complete vehicle preparations and repairs. Recommends products to be maintained in parts room inventory. Coordinates new product acquisitions for test and evaluation purposes. Supervises personnel processing equipment work orders for new equipment preparation. Opens and close work orders. Coordinates acquisition and distribution of vehicle fuel cards, registrations, and license tags assigned to new vehicles. Disposes of fuel cards, registrations, and tags for previously assigned vehicles turned into the Equipment Depot. Supervises and assists staff with issuing new and used equipment to field custodians. Prepares Form 608 for payments of invoices. Process Travel Expense Claims. Order office supplies and maintains office equipment. Assists with forecasting and management of operating budget based on anticipated needs for equipment, materials, and staff. Organizes and prepares reports involving personnel, operations budget, new equipment acquisitions, old equipment disposals, and equipment preparation. Serves as fuel card coordinator for the Equipment Depot to include receiving new cards and maintaining accountability and security for all new and used fuel cards. Performs other related duties as assigned.
A high school diploma and one and one-half (1.5) years of relevant experience in business management, public administration, or administrative services; or an approved acceptable equivalence. A valid motor vehicle operator's license is required. The physical demands for the essential functions includes sitting or standing at a desk for an extended periods and working on a computer. May be required to lift up to 30 lbs. May be required to work outside normal business hours.
