Mission:

The purpose of the State Plumbing Board of Louisiana is the protection of the health, safety, and welfare of the citizens of Louisiana by licensing qualified plumbing professionals, enforcing state plumbing laws and regulations, and promoting the highest standards of competency and professionalism within the plumbing trade.

Administrative Coordinator 4 serves as a key member of the administrative team, providing high-level support of daily operations, customer service, records management, and organizational coordination. This role requires the ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment, and communicate effectively with staff, stakeholders, and the public.

Minimum Qualifications

Three years of experience in administrative services.

EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:

Every 15 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as six months of experience.

Job Duties and Other Information

Job Duties:

  • Catalog licensee files and forms
  • Create and catalog digital documents
  • Maintain files and personal records for all license holders
  • Observe all safety protocols to prevent breaches and misuse of license holder information
  • Consult with Board Members, Examiners, and Custodians regarding finding replacements for scheduled exam dates
  • Filter applications from applicants seeking licensure
  • Verify that applicants seeking to waive the required schooling have the proper documentation
  • Compose correspondence to applicants detailing their application rejection
  • Assemble practical exams for examinees
  • Handle applicant and licensee inquiries regarding licensure, examination, policies, forms, and legislation
  • Compose correspondence to license holders detailing their license renewal rejection

Compensation: The salary offered will be determined based on qualifications and experience.
