Phoenix Home Care and Hospice is hiring an Administrative Assistant to support our In-Home Services and CDS teams in Springfield. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced office, enjoys helping people, and can keep multiple moving pieces organized without missing the details.
You will be a key part of the daily operation by supporting staff, communicating with clients and caregivers, and helping keep the office running smoothly behind the scenes.
What You’ll Do
Answer and direct incoming calls with professionalism and warmth
Support daily office operations and administrative tasks
Schedule appointments and maintain calendars
Prepare emails, letters, forms, and reports
Maintain organized filing systems and documentation
Order and track office supplies
Serve as a point of contact for internal staff and external clients
Assist leadership and team members with projects and day to day support
What We’re Looking For
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy environment
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Professional attitude and dependable work ethic
Experience with Microsoft Office including Excel and Outlook
Previous office or administrative experience preferred
High school diploma or equivalent required
No healthcare experience? That’s okay. We will train the right person with the right attitude and work ethic.
