Administrative Assistant – Sales Support

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM Location: Knoxville Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision Pay: $20.00-$22.00/hr

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant with a strong focus on supporting sales staff. This role is critical to keeping sales operations running smoothly by managing administrative tasks, coordinating communication, and ensuring sales team members have the support they need to focus on client relationships and revenue generation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the sales team
  • Prepare, format, and distribute sales documents such as proposals, contracts, quotes, and presentations
  • Coordinate schedules, meetings, and appointments for sales staff
  • Maintain and update CRM systems, sales reports, and client records
  • Assist with onboarding paperwork and documentation for new sales team members
  • Track sales activities, follow-ups, and deadlines to ensure timely execution
  • Communicate with internal departments (operations, accounting, management) to support sales workflows
  • Handle incoming calls, emails, and inquiries related to sales activities
  • Order and manage sales materials, supplies, and promotional items
  • Support special projects and other administrative duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree preferred
  • 2+ years of administrative or office support experience (sales support preferred)
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Experience with CRM systems a plus
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Professional, proactive, and team-oriented attitude

Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $20.00 - $22.00 Per Hour
