The Water Logistics Associate / Administrative Assistant supports the water management operations by coordinating fluid hauling and disposal activities across field locations. This role is responsible for executing logistics strategies, maintaining strong communication with internal teams and external vendors, and ensuring accurate tracking and documentation of all hauling activities. This position helps streamline operations so field teams can focus on core production while driving efficiency through organization and communication.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate daily water hauling and disposal activities to support field operations
Track and monitor trucking vendors, job progress, and service delivery to ensure timely completion
Maintain accurate records of jobs, including data entry, work orders, and required documentation
Communicate and collaborate with field operations, supply chain, and management teams
Build and maintain relationships with third-party trucking companies and internal stakeholders
Assist in resolving operational issues, delays, or discrepancies as they arise
Support invoice processing and ensure alignment between completed work and billing
Identify opportunities to improve logistics processes and overall efficiency
Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 year of experience in an administrative, logistics, or operations support role
Basic understanding of accounting concepts and invoice processing
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Experience with SAP and/or oil and gas industry experience is a plus
