This role plays a key part in ensuring timely, accurate regulatory filings, maintaining compliance tracking and reporting (including training metrics), and supporting day-to-day operational coordination, including East Coast collaboration spaces and ad hoc people administration.The ideal candidate is a detail oriented, proactive, systems-minded operator who understands the importance of complying with deadlines and is comfortable working with large volumes of sensitive data, leveraging technology (including AI tools), and improving processes in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.Key ResponsibilitiesGaming and Regulatory Licensing SupportSupport preparation and submission of regulatory and licensing filings across multiple jurisdictionsTrack application status, renewal deadlines, and ongoing compliance requirementsMaintain and organize electronic records, including licenses, correspondence, and regulatory documentationPartner cross-functionally (Legal, Compliance, Finance, People, and Executive Teams, as well as Socure's board of directors) to collect and validate information required for filingsPartner with executive stakeholders to gather time-sensitive inputs, communicating with clarity, precision, and strong judgment while minimizing demands on their timeInterface with regulators and external partners as needed to support application processesPerform data entry and quality control across internal systems and external regulatory portalsLeverage AI-enabled tools and internal systems to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of compliance workflowsAssist with process improvement and documentation to streamline filing and tracking workflowsPeople Compliance & Operational SupportTrack and report on employee compliance training completion, including monitoring deadlines and following up with stakeholdersMaintain documentation and records related to internal compliance programs and employee acknowledgmentsSupport ad hoc people administration tasks (e.g., onboarding/offboarding coordination, data updates, documentation)Coordinate day-to-day operations of East Coast collaboration spaces, partnering with Workplace teams as neededServe as a point of contact for collaboration space usage, ensuring a smooth employee experienceBasic Qualifications2+ years of experience in an administrative, legal, or compliance support roleStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and deadlinesHigh attention to detail, particularly in document review and data entryExperience working with sensitive or confidential informationProficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive), comfort utilizing AI tools and learning new tools quicklyStrong written and verbal communication skillsProven ability to communicate effectively with senior stakeholders, including executives, with a focus on clarity, efficiency, and follow-throughA self-starter with sound judgment, high integrity, and a collaborative mindset.Preferred QualificationsExperience supporting regulatory, licensing, or compliance functions (gaming, fintech, or other highly regulated industries strongly preferred)Familiarity with multi-state licensing processesLegal Assistant or Paralegal certification (nice to have, not required)Additional AttributesAble to work independently while coordinating across multiple teamsComfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environmentStrong prioritization skills and ability to manage shifting deadlinesProcess-minded, with an interest in improving efficiency and scalabilitySocure is an equal opportunity employer that values diversity in all its forms within our company.
