    Administrative Assistant - Beaumont, TX

iSphere is looking for an Administrative Assistant for a 12+ month onsite opportunity in Beaumont.

This is one of those roles where a lot of different people will rely on you every day. Employees, visitors, contractors, vendors, managers, and field personnel will all come through your world, so the client needs someone who is organized, professional, and good at keeping a lot of moving pieces from turning into chaos.

You will handle reception, phones, visitor coordination, meeting rooms, office supplies, mail, deliveries, expense reports, vendor communication, and general administrative support. You will also help with meetings and events, including room setup, catering, lunches, audiovisual needs, and cleanup.

A big part of the job is simply being the person who knows what is going on and keeps things moving. That might mean helping a visitor get where they need to go, finding a conference room, tracking down a delivery, fixing a scheduling conflict, processing an expense report, or helping someone in the field get the administrative support they need.

    What we need:

    • Administrative, clerical, receptionist, or office support experience

    • Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

    • Strong data entry skills with excellent accuracy and attention to detail

    • Good written and verbal communication skills

    • Ability to manage multiple priorities without losing track of the small stuff

    • Strong customer service skills and a professional demeanor

    • Ability to handle confidential information appropriately

    • High school diploma or GED

Experience supporting an industrial, construction, energy, manufacturing, or operational environment would be a big plus.

SAP experience will also get our attention, along with experience with expense reporting, administrative ticketing systems, vendor coordination, visitor management, meetings, or company events.

The person who does well here will be dependable, easy to work with, and comfortable being the go-to person for a hundred little things that somehow all become important at the same time.

If you are organized, like helping people, and take pride in keeping an office running smoothly behind the scenes, we should talk.
