PPS is seeking a detail oriented Administrative Assistant generally provides support to our semiconductor servicing facility in San Jose. This is a full-time permanent opportunity with a competitive pay rate, great benefits, and room for advancement!.

Responsibilities:  

  • Provides administrative support with duties that include answering phones, delivering messages, data entry, creating and maintaining logs, creating Excel spreadsheets and charts, PowerPoint presentations, scheduling appointments, filing and other tasks as requested
  • Maintains general office systems and functions including ordering office supplies, sorting and distributing incoming and outgoing mail, updating postage machine, break room supply order management, ordering and coordinating catering deliveries
  • Create and manage an Event Committee made up of site employees that communicate an interest in site activities
  • Plan and coordinate monthly employee engagement activities, with support of Event Committee, for all site employees
  • Coordinate with other sites and corporate office to share information and provide regular reports on items of shared interest
  • Create, reconcile, and get appropriate approvals for expense reports
  • Process and issue approved Spot Awards
  • Create and issue Service Award Certificates
  • Issue and track Safety Shoe Vouchers and Safety Glass Request Orders
  • Works on special projects, as requested, to support the site.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access
  • Strong organizational skills, and ability to multitask
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skill
  • Ability to compose and proof correspondence, prioritize and self-manage with general direction
  • 2+ years general office experience supporting a variety of functions.
