Position Summary Information
Job Description Summary
The purpose of this position is to manage the routine administrative functions of the AEL Department, assist in responding to questions about AEL, communicate with internal and external entities, and support various AEL functions to ensure smooth operations.
Minimum Qualifications
Associate's degree.
One (1) year administrative support related experience in a Human Resources environment.
Required Job Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Proficiency with MS Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy maintaining records.
Excellent organizational skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong customer service skills.
Ability to communicate courteously and effectively with students, faculty, staff, and public.
Preferred Qualifications
Higher education experience.
Experience using Colleague for student information and records.

Job Duty
Create typed draft and final meeting agendas for meetings as required.
Prepare information needed for the meeting by attendees as necessary.
Make travel arrangements for Director and/or staff as needed.
Complete monthly Department P-Card review and submit.
Create requisitions.
Manage and maintain inventory for office supplies and classroom supplies.
Job Duty
Type correspondence, reports, and similar materials from rough drafts in accordance with established guidelines for review by originators; correct grammatical and spelling errors in draft material.
Receive, track, and file correspondence, records, and reports; maintain files; dispose of files in accordance with TWC and College policies.
Assist in collection/preparation/processing of documents for students to ensure eligibility.
Create and/or maintain databases; enter student data into College or TWC database.
Maintain electronic records in SharePoint.
Audit records/files for completeness and compliance.
Job Duty
Perform other duties as assigned by Director or Assistant Director.
