Overview
The Salvation Army's Fall River Corps., is hiring an Administrative Assistant and offers excellent benefit package to eligible employees including:
Location: 290 Bedford Street, Fal River, MA
Hours/week: 30 hours per week
Exemption: Non-exempt
Pay Range: $20.09 - $32.64 per hour
Provide administrative support to Officers and other staff with a high degree of professionalism, accuracy, judgment, and confidentiality.

Duties & Responsibilities:
General Responsibilities
Answer and direct phone calls
Sort and open office mail and place in appropriate inboxes.
Perform general clerical duties to include but not limited to:
Photocopying
Faxing
Mailing (maintain mailing list, preparing mailing labels, etc)
Filing
Keep inventory and process requests for office supplies
Maintain routine reports and statistics
Submit timesheets to payroll on bi-weekly basis
Perform other related duties as requested.
Maintain all department files according to office procedures
Perform all typing duties (including, but not limited to: correspondence, forms, documents, schedules, bulletins, etc.)
Maintain an adequate Bring up file
Respond to all donations with a thank you card (monetary and in-kind)
Schedule social service interviews as required
Coordinates "clothe a child" holiday assistance
Help with kids' recruitment paperwork for summer camp
Keep the finance database entries up to date
Help with bank deposits
QUALIFICATIONS
Education Requirements:
High School Diploma
College/Business School Graduate preferred
Work Experience:
At least two (2) years work experience in field
