Description

Administrative Assistant I supporting office administration and daily operations.
Responsible for front-desk support, answering calls, greeting visitors, and visitor log/badge management.
Manage office and breakroom supplies, inventory, and purchase orders through vendors such as Uline and Staples.
Assist with inventory reconciliation, cycle counting, KPI reporting, shipping, and warehouse activities.
Coordinate team lunches, office activities, and events.
Provide general administrative and operational support as assigned.
Requires strong customer service, communication, organization, and time-management skills.
Part-time: 25–30 hours per week, day shift.
Onsite: Eden Prairie, MN.
Temp-to-hire opportunity.

Job Responsibilities

Answer incoming calls and welcome visitors at the front desk.
Maintain visitor logs and issue appropriate visitor badges.
Escort vendors and repair personnel while they are inside the facility.
Organize group lunches, team activities, and office events.
Monitor and maintain office and breakroom supply inventory.
Place supply orders through Uline, Staples, and other vendors.
Assist with inventory reconciliation and cycle counting.
Support inventory and KPI reporting.
Assist the shipping area and warehouse when needed.
Perform general administrative and operational duties as assigned.
Maintain a professional, friendly, and customer-focused environment.
 

Qualifications

Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required.
2+ years of administrative, office support, or operations experience.
Strong proficiency with:Microsoft Outlook
Microsoft Word
Microsoft Excel
Microsoft PowerPoint
Ability to type at least 40 WPM.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Dependable, punctual, organized, and detail-oriented.
Basic understanding of inventory and manufacturing principles.
Ability to balance office administration with hands-on operational support.
Preferred Qualifications
College coursework or degree in Supply Chain or Operations.
Experience with ERP systems.
Experience with inventory management, warehouse operations, or shipping.
Experience with inventory/KPI reporting.
