POSITION SUMMARY:
Provides administrative support to the Vice President of Sales & Marketing. This position works under direct supervision, with work regularly checked for accuracy.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Provides general clerical duties for the VP of Sales & Marketing, which include answering calls, scheduling/maintaining calendar appointments, and general correspondence (i.e., letters, emails, etc.). • Assist with scheduling of all onsite and remote demonstrations. Prepares demonstration agendas, coordinates luncheons, and marketing material. • Prepares letters/emails to be sent to prospective clients with brochures and literature. • Plans and coordinates corporate visits. Prepares and prints agendas, arranges catering, and supervises setup and teardown for corporate visits. • Answers incoming calls, provides information to callers, or routes calls to the appropriate personnel. • Complies with all approved procedures, directives, and guidelines. • Performs other duties as assigned.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
Education Required: An Associate's Degree in Business Administration or related is preferred. Some college is desirable. Relevant experience may be substituted for a degree.
Experience Required: A minimum of two years of experience providing administrative assistance is required.
Essential Requirements:
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills are essential. • Strong knowledge of administrative functions and the ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively under pressure are necessary. • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.
