Job duties:   This is a highly responsible, complex administrative position with work assignments primarily within District Court Administration.  Duties in District Court Administration may include, but are not limited to, answering calls, screening visitors, room scheduling, inventory, supply ordering and general office work.  This position may also be asked to provide assistance to confidential employees, such as entering bench notes, scheduling hearings, or serving as a bailiff during trials.  Work requires competence, independence and discretion with the ability to interact in a positive manner with stakeholders and members of the public.

Required education and experience:   High School Graduation, minimum of one year experience in secretarial and general clerical work. Legal and/or court experience preferred.    

Preferred qualifications:   Experienced Administrative Assistant or legal secretary; skilled with computer technology (Microsoft applications), multi-tasking and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.  Ability to work in-person, in an office setting is required.
