    Position Description:
    We are searching for a full-time, in-office Credit Administrative Assistant to work in our Amarillo, Texas location. This role assists management in the overall administration of the credit function including tasks related to executive reporting, adherence to Association policies and procedures, loan servicing and retail office support.

    Day-to Day-Duties and Responsibilities:
    - Aids with documentation for credit actions requiring approval from the Farm Credit Bank of Texas (FCBT), loan approval actions made under individual delegated lending authority and loan committee, and territorial concurrence approvals/denials.
    - Supports management with the development and maintenance of credit policies, procedures and processes.
    - Assists credit department with adherence to regulations for appropriate notifications sent to borrowers regarding past due loans and tracks results.
    - Provides guidance to retail offices regarding loan servicing and new loan origination.
    - Supports internal and external credit reviews, audits, and examinations by providing requested information and documentation, tracking examiner and reviewer requests, facilitating timely responses, and maintaining review workpapers and supporting records.
    - Demonstrates proficiency in loan origination, loan accounting, and other credit systems.
    - Reviews credit related reports for distribution to the board of directors along with preparing internal reports on behalf of the credit department.
    - Compiles Young, Beginning and Small farmer and rancher (YBS) reporting for annual business plan, FCBT, and FCA questionnaire.


    What You Bring to the Team:
    Our ideal candidate lives within a commutable distance from our office in Amarillo, Texas.
    It is an important role that covers many skills. This position requires:
    - High school diploma or equivalent and
    - Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in planning, organizing, and coordinating administrative support activities in an office environment.
    General knowledge of the following:
    - General knowledge of office equipment and systems used for the storage and retrieval of business information.
    - General knowledge of standard records management and file classification practices.
    - Specialized knowledge of written correspondence principles.
    - Skill in oral and written communication.
    - Demonstrates strong attention to detail and accuracy in performing assigned responsibilities in compliance with Association policies and procedures.
    - Intermediate skill level in Microsoft Office applications.
    - Ability to perform a variety of moderately complex administrative support duties requiring some independent judgment and analysis under moderate supervision.
