Reporting to an assigned Dean of Instruction, the Part-time Adjunct Faculty position conducts formal classes and meets all lab objectives, when applicable, for assigned courses. Part-time Adjunct Faculty teach and evaluate students, prepare and revise course syllabi and other educational materials. Part-time Adjunct Faculty will have demonstrated success in the classroom by developing and using effective teaching strategies that meet students' diverse needs and engage students in critical thinking and problem-solving. Lastly, Part-time Adjunct Faculty contribute to the overall operation of the College, support the mission of the institute, and employ the philosophical commitment of the community college environment.

Reading: M.A. in Reading or M.A. in Linguistics or M.Ed. in Adult Literacy\u2013Reading or M.S.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction (inclusive of Literacy/Reading), or M. A. and 18 graduate hours in Reading.
How to Apply:
