Our client is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join their Corporate Accounting team in Woodland Hills. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented accounting professional who enjoys managing customer accounts, cash applications, collections, and account reconciliations in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle accounts receivable processes

  • Apply customer payments including ACH, wire transfers, lockbox, and credit card payments

  • Monitor aging reports and proactively follow up on outstanding invoices

  • Perform B2B collections while maintaining positive customer relationships

  • Research and resolve payment discrepancies, deductions, and short-paid invoices

  • Reconcile customer accounts and investigate account variances

  • Generate invoices, statements, and credit memos as needed

  • Partner with internal departments to resolve billing and payment issues

  • Assist with month-end close activities and AR reporting

  • Maintain accurate customer records and documentation within the ERP system

  • Support continuous process improvements and internal controls

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of Accounts Receivable experience

  • Experience with cash application and account reconciliations

  • Strong B2B collections experience

  • ERP system experience required (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, JD Edwards, Epicor, or similar)

  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities

  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

  • Corporate Accounts Receivable experience

  • High-volume transaction processing experience

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field
