Key Responsibilities – Accounts Payable Specialist

• 
  
• Process and code vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner
• 
  
• Communicate with vendors regarding invoices, payments, and account inquiries
• 
  
• Reconcile vendor statements and accounts payable balances
• 
  
• Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and payment issues
• 
  
• Assist with month-end close activities and account reconciliations
• 
  
• Maintain accurate accounting records and support documentation
• 
  
• Provide general accounting and administrative support to the finance team
• 
  
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures
• 
  

Qualifications – Accounts Payable Specialist

• 
  
• Previous Accounts Payable experience required
• 
  
• Experience with invoice processing, payment administration, and account reconciliation
• 
  
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with vendors and internal teams
• 
  
• General accounting support experience preferred
• 
  
• Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office, including Excel
• 
  
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• 
  
• Ability to prioritize workloads and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• 
  
• Ability to work on-site in Nashville, TN
• 
  
• Availability to start immediately – quick hiring process

• Experience within construction, contracting, or related industries is a plus
