    Role Overview

     

    • TurnPoint Services is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to support our finance team by processing vendor invoices, reconciling accounts, and ensuring timely and accurate payments. This role plays a key part in maintaining strong vendor relationships and accurate financial records. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, multi-location environment.

     

     

     

    What You Bring

     

    • High school diploma or GED required; associate's or bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred. - 1-3 years of accounts payable or general accounting experience. - Working knowledge of accounting principles and AP processes. - Proficiency with accounting or ERP software and Microsoft Office, especially Excel. - Strong attention to detail and accuracy. - Good organizational and time management skills. - Clear written and verbal communication skills. - Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. - Team player who works well with internal departments and outside vendors.

     

     

     

    Key Responsibilities

     

    • Review, code, and process vendor invoices accurately and on time. - Match invoices to purchase orders and receiving documentation. - Prepare and process payment runs, including checks, ACH, and electronic payments. - Respond to vendor and internal inquiries regarding payment status. - Maintain accurate vendor records and supporting documentation. - Assist with month-end close activities and accruals. - Support audits by providing requested documentation. - Follow company policies and internal controls. - Reconcile vendor statements and address any issues. - Assist with 1099 processing.
