Accounting Specialist

Ready to make a move quickly? I'm recruiting for an Accounting Specialist to join a growing organization that needs someone who can step in immediately and provide hands-on support across Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.

This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys variety, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is comfortable managing day-to-day transactional accounting responsibilities. Qualified candidates who are available to start immediately will receive priority consideration.

Responsibilities:

• Process high-volume Accounts Payable, including invoice review, coding, approvals, and payment preparation
• Manage Accounts Receivable, including invoicing, cash application, and payment tracking
• Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and outstanding account issues
• Perform vendor and customer account reconciliations
• Assist with aging reports and collections follow-up
• Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation
• Support account reconciliations and month-end close activities
• Communicate with vendors, customers, and internal departments to resolve accounting questions
• Assist with additional accounting projects and reporting as needed

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of hands-on AP and AR experience preferred
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and transactional accounting
• Experience with accounting or ERP systems
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including spreadsheets, formulas, sorting, and filtering
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Pay Details: $24.00 to $28.00 per hour
