Accounting Clerk Responsibilities
The Accounting Clerk will process customer invoices for long-term accounts and major retail customers.
Create invoices in Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains), including scanning pick tickets for high-volume orders.
Process cash receipts and assist with account reconciliations as needed.
Send collection emails and follow up on outstanding balances.
The Accounting Clerk will review customer remittances and payment details for accuracy.
The Accounting Clerk will use Excel to organize and analyze accounting data.
Qualifications of the Accounting Clerk Role
Previous accounting, invoicing, accounts receivable, or cash application experience.
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains) preferred.
Intermediate Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs, preferred.
Power Query experience is a plus.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Willingness to learn new processes and systems.
