    PLEASE CONTACT CHRISTINA TRAN AT ROBERT HALF FOR MORE DETAILSACCOUNTING MANAGER 160K-165K + BONUS+EQUITYExciting biotech company is seeking an Accounting Manager to contribute their expertise to general ledger accounting functions to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with GAAP. This role is responsible for managing accounts payable and assisting with the general ledger, month‑end and year‑end close processes and financial reporting. The ideal candidate has strong accounting expertise & knowledge of GAAP and experience with biotech/pharmaceutical financial operations.Responsibilities:Participate in the month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end financial close process, preparing journal entries, balance sheet and income statement account reconciliations.Work on cash, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, expense allocations and consolidation processes.Analyze and explain fluctuations in account balances as needed.Assist in the preparation of quarterly financial statements.Oversee accounts payable, including managing one AP contractor.Review and approve invoices entered by AP contractor & correct GL/Dept/Class coding as appropriate.Manage AP contractor in troubleshooting AP invoice issues, responding to vendor inquiries, obtaining invoice approvals.Review NetSuite purchase orders & Ramp credit card transactions & correct GL/Dept/Class coding as appropriate.Perform contract / PO completeness reviews.Assist with various tax and regulatory reporting and filings.Assist with ad hoc/special projects, as needed.Requirements:BA or BS degree in Accounting, Finance5+ years of progressive accounting experience.Public accounting experience and/or CPA preferred.Biotech/pharmaceutical industry experience preferred.Proficiency in NetSuite and advanced Excel skills.#J-18808-Ljbffr
