Overview of the role:

• 
  
• Manage corporate allocations, intercompany transactions, prepaid insurance and other insurance allocations
• 
  
• Assist with ad hoc projects
• 
  
• Maintain corporate accruals, manage internal reporting, leases, corporate general ledger maintenance
• 
  
• Coordinate with other accountants in other offices
• 
  
• Lead month-end close and consolidations
• 
  
• Analyze monthly results and ensuring all adjusting journal entries are complete
• 
  
• Assist in various other projects and corporate financial initiatives including mergers & acquisitions
• 
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• 
  
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance,or business
• 
  
• CPA is a plus
• 
  
• Public accounting background would be highly desirable but not required
• 
  
• 5 + years experience
• 
  
• Experience in a financial services would be a plus
• 
  
• Would consider someone straight public (big4/top 10 firm)
• 
  
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment and willingness to learn
•
