    Client Overview:
    Our client is a growing and dynamic organization seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join their Accounting and Finance team. This is an opportunity to join a fast-paced environment with continued growth and exposure to a high-volume accounting operation.

    Salary/Hourly Rate:
    Up to $145k Annually, Based on experience + Discretionary bonus

    Position Overview:
    The Accounting Manager will oversee key accounting functions with a strong focus on Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable operations. This individual will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely transaction processing, strengthening accounting processes and controls, supporting month-end close, and providing leadership to the accounting team.

    Responsibilities of the Accounting Manager:
    • Oversee day-to-day Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions in a high-volume environment.
    • Manage and develop accounting staff while ensuring accuracy, productivity, and adherence to deadlines.
    • Review AP and AR transactions, reconciliations, aging reports, payment activity, and account discrepancies.
    • Support month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations.
    • Maintain and improve accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
    • Monitor cash receipts, vendor payments, collections, and related accounting activity.
    • Review financial data and prepare accounting and management reports as needed.
    • Partner with internal departments to resolve accounting issues and improve processes.
    • Support audits and ensure appropriate accounting documentation is maintained.
    • Identify opportunities to streamline and automate accounting processes as the organization continues to grow.
    Required Experience/Skills for the Accounting Manager:
    • Minimum 7 years of progressive accounting experience.
    • Prior experience managing or supervising accounting staff.
    • Strong general accounting knowledge, including month-end close, reconciliations, journal entries, and general ledger accounting.
    • Strong understanding of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes.
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
    • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments.
    Preferred Experience/Skills for the Accounting Manager:
    • Experience overseeing high-volume Accounts Payable and/or Accounts Receivable operations is strongly preferred.
    • Experience improving accounting processes, workflows, and internal controls.
    • Experience supporting a growing or evolving organization.
    • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are preferred.
    Education Requirements:
    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required, or
    • Master's degree in Accounting with a relevant Bachelor's degree.
