Ledgent Finance and Accounting is seeking an Accounting Associate for Direct hire opportunity with a non profit partner of ours in the St Paul area!
Pay: $22-$24/hr

Key Responsibilities
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processing, including invoice entry, coding, and payment tracking
- Prepare and post basic journal entries under supervision
- Perform bank, credit card, and account reconciliations
- Support month‑end close by preparing schedules and reports
- Maintain organized and accurate financial records and documentation
- Research and resolve transaction discrepancies
- Assist with financial reporting, audits, and compliance requests
- Communicate with internal teams and vendors to resolve accounting issues
- Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or progress toward degree)
- 0-3 years of accounting, bookkeeping, or relevant internship experience
- Basic understanding of accounting principles
- Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, Dynamics) preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
