Accounting Assistant

What your future day will look like:

• Process daily cash receipts, credit memos, manual invoices, and other accounts receivable transactions.
• Monitor past-due invoices and assist with collections efforts through professional customer communication.
• Review customer accounts, establish credit limits, and help minimize bad debt exposure.
• Prepare and maintain financial transaction records, ensuring information is entered accurately and timely.
• Generate customer invoices, process intercompany billings, and send monthly statements.
• Assist with credit card reconciliations, audit requests, reporting, and general accounting support activities.

Type: Direct Hire

To be a champion in this role, you will need:

• High school diploma or GED required; accounting coursework or college experience preferred
• 1-2 years of accounting, bookkeeping, accounts receivable, or related experience preferred
• Basic understanding of accounting principles, including debits and credits
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in repetitive financial processes
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Dependable, team-oriented professional who can work independently and follow established procedures
