    Position Overvie
    We are seeking a Manager Level Consultant for our Accounting advisory client to support complex financial reporting and transaction-related initiatives. This contract opportunity is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys solving technical accounting challenges associated with business transformations, acquisitions, divestitures, and other significant corporate events

    Primary Responsibiliti
    • Provide technical accounting guidance related to business combinations, divestitures, restructurings, carve-outs, capital transactions, and other complex events
    • Partner with finance and executive leadership teams to assess accounting implications, reporting requirements, and potential financial risks
    • Lead the preparation and review of transaction-related financial reporting deliverables, including carve-out financial statements and other specialized reporting as needed
    • Interpret and apply U.S. GAAP to complex accounting matters while developing practical recommendations tailored to each client's circumstances
    • Review work prepared by consultants and senior consultants, providing coaching, technical direction, and quality control throughout the engagement
    • Coordinate activities across internal teams and external stakeholders, including auditors, legal counsel, and other advisors, to keep projects moving efficiently
    • Identify opportunities to improve financial reporting processes, internal controls, and project execution during client engagements
    Qualifications
    • 7+years of progressive experience in public accounting, accounting consulting, financial reporting, transaction services, or a comparable advisory environment
    • Strong technical knowledge of U.S. GAAP and experience researching and resolving complex accounting issues
    • Demonstrated experience supporting mergers and acquisitions, business separations, reorganizations, or other strategic transactions
    • Experience preparing or reviewing complex financial statements and related disclosures
    • Public company and SEC reporting experience is advantageous but not required
    • CPA designation is preferred but not required
