Accountant Overview

We are seeking an Accountant to support project accounting and general accounting functions for a growing construction-focused business. This role offers a mix of accounting, receivables, cash management, and operational finance responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• 
  
• Manage project setup, billing, change orders, and job accounting.
• 
  
• Monitor accounts receivable and collection efforts
• 
  
• Perform cash forecasting, reconciliations, and daily cash management activities.
• 
  
• Maintain contract and change order documentation.
• 
  
• Complete month-end reconciliations and support the close process.
• 
  
• Assist with administrative accounting functions as needed.
• 
  

Qualifications

• 
  
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 
  
• 1-2 years of accounting experience.
• 
  
• Public accounting experience preferred but not required.
• 
  
• Strong Excel, organizational, and communication skills.
