This role is ideal for a detail-oriented accounting professional who enjoys working with investments, financial reporting, and complex reconciliations while supporting a mission-driven organization.This position works closely with the Vice President, Finance, investment advisors, and internal leaders to ensure accurate accounting, reporting, and compliance related to the Foundation's investment portfolios.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform investment accounting and portfolio reconciliations for pooled and non-pooled investment accounts, ensuring accurate reporting of invested assetsManage cash management and fund accounting processes , including donor-directed investment allocations across multiple investment poolsServe as liaison with investment advisors and banking partners , supporting documentation, reporting, and compliance with investment policy statementsMonitor portfolio performance and investment results , preparing quarterly reporting for the Investment Committee and leadershipTrack program-related investments , assist with financial due diligence, and support audit and financial statement reporting related to investmentsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting required (Associate's degree with relevant experience considered)Knowledge of alternative investments or investment accounting is a plusFamiliarity with US GAAP as it relates to investments preferredStrong analytical, organizational, and project management skillsExperience with accounting systems and Microsoft Office 365Ability to learn and utilize platforms such as Salesforce and Sage IntacctStrong written and verbal communication skillsProfessional, collaborative approach with the ability to work independentlyCompensation and BenefitsCompetitive salary based on experience15 days of paid time off, plus 13 paid holidays and 12 sick days annuallyEmployer-paid medical coverage with optional dental and vision plans403(b) retirement plan with up to 11% employer contributionWhy This Role MattersThis position plays an important role in helping ensure that philanthropic funds entrusted to the Community Foundation are managed with accuracy, transparency, and care.
