Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Accounting and one year of accounting experience; OR Bachelors degree to include 9 semester credits in Accounting and one year of accounting experience; OR one year of satisfactory performance as an Accountant 1 in the County service is required; OR five years of Accounting experience may substitute for the required four years of college education.

Employees in this position involves supervisory accounting work in the application of established accounting principles and methods in the preparation, maintenance, analysis, and control of financial records. This position is heavily involved in the planning, assigning, and reviewing the work of subordinate accountants and clerical employees engaged in the preparation and analysis of financial statements and reports, classifying, balancing, and maintaining journals and ledgers and performance of related accounting duties.
