Job Description: Insurance Sales Representative

Position Overview

We are looking for a motivated and results-driven Insurance Sales Representative to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining a client base, educating customers on insurance products, and driving sales to meet or exceed performance targets. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for sales, strong interpersonal skills, and a desire to help people protect what matters most.

Key Responsibilities

•  Prospect and generate new leads through networking, referrals, cold calling, community events, and digital channels

•  Conduct thorough needs assessments to recommend suitable insurance products (auto, home, life, health, commercial, etc.)

•  Present and explain policy options, coverage details, and pricing to clients in a clear and professional manner

•  Close sales and achieve monthly/quarterly production goals

•  Build long-term relationships with clients by providing exceptional service and follow-up

•  Process applications, policy changes, renewals, and claims support as needed

•  Stay current with insurance products, industry regulations, and market trends

•  Collaborate with team members and underwriters to ensure smooth client experiences

•  Maintain accurate records in our CRM system

Qualifications & Requirements

•  Proven sales experience (insurance sales preferred, but not required)

•  Active Property & Casualty and/or Life & Health insurance license (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)

•  Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills

•  Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and goal-oriented mindset

•  Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

•  High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree a plus

•  Clean background check and professional references
