Bilingual Spanish Account Manager – Insurance Sales

Location: Portland, OR (near Beaverton)
Employment Type: Full-Time
Compensation: Competitive base pay plus commission/bonuses


Position Overview


Chad Elder State Farm is looking for a highly motivated, customer-focused Bilingual Account Manager – Insurance Sales who is fluent in both English and Spanish. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, helping customers understand their insurance options, and identifying opportunities to protect what matters most to them.

As an Account Manager, you will work with new and existing customers to assess their insurance needs, provide personalized recommendations, and grow customer relationships through excellent service and needs-based sales.


Responsibilities


  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers
  • Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate insurance products and coverage options.
  • Generate new business through inbound leads, outbound calls, referrals, and community networking.
  • Conduct policy reviews and identify opportunities for additional products and services.
  • Follow up with prospects and customers to support retention and sales goals.
  • Educate customers about available insurance products, coverage, discounts, and policy features.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and document interactions.
  • Meet or exceed individual and agency sales and service goals.
  • Provide professional, responsive, and friendly customer service.
  • Contribute to a positive, energetic, and collaborative office culture.
Qualifications


  • Fluent in English and Spanish; bilingual communication skills are required.
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and customer service skills.
  • Sales-oriented with the ability to identify customer needs and recommend solutions.
  • Self-motivated, dependable, organized, and goal-driven.
  • Comfortable making outbound calls and following up with prospective customers.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Previous insurance, financial services, sales, or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
  • Property & Casualty and/or Life & Health insurance licenses are preferred. Candidates who are not currently licensed may be required to obtain applicable licenses.
