Job Description:
With direct supervision, this role will be responsible for field applications, system design, and customer product development/enhancement; Provides sales, marketing and design direction in support of the organization's growth initiative; May also support key accounts
Responsibilities:
When requested, provides technical expertise on products;
May provide research to support adapting current and new products to customer needs and satisfactions
May support design and manufacturing in sharing the customer requirements;
May conduct research to support more senior team members in summarizing findings on a given product, project, or territory;
May support more senior team members in researching and delivery of training to customers and distributors;
Develop and maintain basic knowledge of products and their activity in the marketplace;
Conduct research to support regular report generation;
Conduct basic analysis to understand the market needs for innovative products;
Proactively works with site management and related support departments to ensure on time customer service needs are met or exceeded.
Develops and maintains strong client relationships.
Ensures Parker products are specified to maintain and increase revenue by prioritizing the opportunities on an account-by-account basis to obtain optimum sales and margin results.
Develop and maintain comprehensive technical knowledge of site products, applications, features, advantages and benefits. Keeps up with internal and external training and development.
Education:
Bachelor"s Degree in a technical discipline or other relevant field
1+ years of relevant experience
Skills:
Thorough understanding and expertise in sales management
Proven consultative selling skills to develop attractive value propositions
Strong leadership and effective interpersonal skills
Ability to solve problems and to analyze possible solutions using technical experience and judgment and precedents
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications and database management tools
