We are looking for an Account Manager who can be hands on with technical support for our dealers and technicians in the field - prior experience understanding HVAC systems is a requirement for this role
We are an HVAC/R wholesale distributor throughout the Midwest and Mountain States, including Albuquerque and the surrounding areas. Some responsibilities and examples include:
- Customer Focused - we are passionate about serving all of our customers, including dealers, business owners and large HVAC companies and consolidators. We meet customers' needs by maintaining positive business relationships and delivering on our promises. We provide technical support, and are present in our branch locations each day, front and center for the customer.
- HVAC product and industry knowledge - HVAC technical support is needed for this role - You must possess the ability to teach techs and troubleshoot their needs as they call in and come into the branch location. Understanding HVAC residential systems is a must, and that experience is needed to assist our outside sales team in selling the right equipment and recommending the right systems for the jobs our customers have.
- Perform Service advice and guidance on phone and or in person if necessary.
- Help manage service and parts operations at our branch levels - perform equipment inspections, both local and possibly remote locations.
- Well Versed in the HVAC industry by knowing methods, techniques, parts, tools, and materials used in the maintenance and repair, including testing, diagnosis, HVAC and Refrigeration service.
- Ensure our promises to customers are met - Provide training by assisting with developing and presenting product applications, installation and service programs. Work on the inside sales team at our location by supporting our dealers, technicians, and Territory Managers by being face to face with customers, and also have the opportunity to have assigned accounts as well. Present and execute National Sales Programs and initiatives with our TM's, and also support the branch by assisting at the counter when needed, answering phones, and other duties as assigned.
- Sales Skills - Continually improve on sales skills and product knowledge to maintain competitive advantage in a very high paced and competitive environment
- Attention to Detail - Must be able to read and explain wiring and piping diagrams. Provide customer service expertise and support to pricing, quoting, credit terms and orders, utilizing P21 and a CRM system.

Candidates should have:
- 5 years (or more) of HVAC/R industry experience Residential HVAC experience is a must
- Strong Written and Verbal Communication skills (Outlook)
- Highly motivated and detail oriented
- A proven track record of sales and selling skills experience
- Valid Driver's license/driving record
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
