    Account Manager

    About the Role

    Spencer Corporate Travel North America is seeking a relationship-focused Account Manager to support and grow our portfolio of corporate travel clients.

    This role will serve as the primary point of contact for assigned client accounts and will be responsible for client onboarding, relationship management, service quality, reporting, travel program support, retention, and account growth. The Account Manager will work closely with clients, Travel Advisors, Operations, Finance, and leadership to ensure each client receives the full value of Spencer Corporate Travel North America's high-touch service model.

    The Account Manager is responsible for supporting existing clients, strengthening relationships, improving client experience, and helping accounts grow over time.

    The ideal candidate is a confident, curious, and commercially minded relationship builder who knows how to ask thoughtful questions, and connect business needs to practical solutions. They are energized by building something new, comfortable with ambiguity, and motivated by the opportunity to help shape the growth of Spencer Corporate Travel North America.

    Responsibilities

    • Serve as the primary relationship owner for assigned corporate client accounts.
    • Build strong relationships with client stakeholders, including travel arrangers, executive assistants, finance teams, HR, operations leaders, and executive contacts.
    • Lead onboarding activities for new clients following handoff from the Business Development Manager.
    • Coordinate with Operations, Finance, and Travel Advisors to ensure travel policies, traveler profiles, billing requirements, reporting needs, and service expectations are properly established.
    • Conduct regular client check-ins, account reviews, and business reviews.
    • Monitor account performance, client satisfaction, service quality, and traveler feedback.
    • Identify opportunities to improve travel program effectiveness, policy alignment, reporting visibility, and traveler experience.
    • Support issue resolution and escalations when required.
    • Identify opportunities to expand services within existing client accounts.
    • Support client retention, renewal, product demonstrations, and account growth initiatives.
    • Represent Spencer Corporate Travel at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to build brand presence.
    • Maintain accurate account records, meeting notes, action items, and client information in Salesforce or the designated CRM.
    • Provide client feedback and account insights to leadership to support continuous improvement.

    Qualifications

    • 3+ years of account management, client success, corporate travel, hospitality, professional services, or related experience.
    • Demonstrated ability to manage business-to-business client relationships.
    • Strong relationship-building, communication, and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple client accounts, priorities, and deadlines.
    • Comfortable working with cross-functional teams, including operations, finance, sales, and client service.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and the Salesforce CRM platform.
    • Strong attention to detail and commitment to follow-through.

    Preferred Experience

    • Experience within a corporate travel management company, travel agency, hospitality, travel technology, or related industry.
    • Familiarity with corporate travel programs, travel policy, reporting, duty of care, supplier programs, and service-level expectations.
    • Experience preparing client-facing reports, account reviews, or business review presentations.
