    Description

    About the Role

OneHum Branded sells branded merchandise programs, company stores, event kits and recognition programs to national brands and institutional clients. Every one of those orders has to be sourced, quoted, entered, proofed, produced, shipped and invoiced correctly, and the client has to feel taken care of the whole way through. That is this role.

The Account Manager, Sales Support is the execution partner and day-to-day contact for a book of accounts. You turn a client's “we need 500 of these by the 15th” into a clean quote, a correct purchase order, an approved proof, a tracked shipment and a happy client, and you grow those accounts through reorders, program add-ons and product ideas. This is an inside role: most client conversations happen by email, phone and Zoom, and the job is won on accuracy, follow-through and deadlines.

    Key Responsibilities

Sales Rep Support & Order Execution

    • Enter client orders and generate supplier purchase orders in our order-management system with complete, accurate specs: item, color, quantity, decoration, imprint location, PMS colors, in-hands date, ship-to
    • Obtain and reconcile supplier order acknowledgments; catch pricing, quantity or ship-date discrepancies before production starts
    • Coordinate artwork with our creative team and route proofs to clients; secure written approvals and confirm proof accuracy against the order
    • Keep sales reps informed on every open order so they never learn about a problem from the client first

    Sourcing, Quoting & Presentations

    • Research and source products against client objectives, budget and timeline using industry tools (ESP, SAGE, DistributorCentral) and preferred supplier relationships
    • Request supplier pricing, decoration costs, production timelines and freight estimates; build accurate quotes and presentations for your accounts and for the sales reps you support
    • Order, track and manage spec samples and virtual mock-ups for client review
    • Maintain working knowledge of decoration methods (screen print, embroidery, laser, full-color, pad print) and their constraints

    Production Tracking & Delivery

    • Monitor every open order through production, decoration and shipment; keep live status current in our project management system
    • Identify and resolve production or shipping risks before the client feels them; communicate changes clearly and early
    • Coordinate drop-ships, split shipments, kitting and company-store fulfillment with our fulfillment team
    • Resolve quality issues, shortages and misprints: document, secure supplier credits or reprints, and close the loop with the client

House Accounts: Inside Sales & Customer Service

    • Serve as the primary contact for assigned house accounts on new requests, order status, proofs, delivery and billing questions
    • Work inbound leads and scheduled client meetings (mostly by Zoom); present product ideas, seasonal programs and reorder opportunities and close them
    • Keep quotes, orders, proofs, approvals and correspondence organized in our order-management system and CRM; confirm invoicing accuracy at order close

    Qualifications

    Requirements:

    • 2+ years in account management, inside sales, customer service or order coordination in a B2B environment
    • Demonstrated accuracy under deadline pressure; you catch the wrong PMS color before the supplier does
    • Strong written and verbal communication; comfortable emailing clients and calling suppliers daily
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Teams) and the ability to learn order-management and CRM software quickly
    • Ability to manage 30+ open orders at once and keep every one of them moving

    Preferred:

    • Experience at a promotional products distributor or supplier, strongly preferred
    • Hands-on experience with ESP, SAGE, CommonSKU or a distributor order-management system
    • Working knowledge of decoration methods, imprint areas and supplier production timelines
    • Exposure to company stores / web stores, kitting programs or event merchandise
    • Familiarity with a CRM (HubSpot, Salesforce) and basic Adobe Acrobat / Illustrator for reviewing proofs

    Mindset:

    • You want to own a book of accounts and make your sales reps look good, not execute a task list
    • You are comfortable building process where formal playbooks don't yet exist
    • You understand that in a growing company your role will expand, and you are energized by that
    • You are proactive: you surface risks early and bring solutions, not just observations
