Title: Account Manager – Power & Infrastructure Solutions
Shift: Standard Business Hours (Onsite in Independence, OH with client travel)
Salary: $60k - $85k + bi-annual bonus
Account Manager Role:
This role exists to own and cultivate commercial relationships with existing key client accounts, transitioning account management from executive leadership to drive repeat business and service expansion in mission-critical electrical infrastructure.
Account Manager Responsibilities:
- Manage and deepen commercial relationships within existing key client accounts as the primary dedicated liaison
- Identify, develop, and close follow-on opportunities, repeat design projects, and expanded technical service offerings
- Collaborate with technical directors, design engineers, and project managers to align project scope and execution with client expectations
- Develop detailed proposal packages, qualification documents, and commercial updates for public and private sector clients
- Maintain an accurate CRM sales pipeline and provide regular, data-driven account revenue forecasts to senior leadership
- Represent the voice of the client during internal engineering kickoffs to ensure delivered designs meet all technical goals
- Proactively manage client satisfaction and issue resolution throughout the complete project lifecycle to secure continuous retention
- Serve as a trusted commercial advisor to translate technical engineering capabilities into clear client business value
Account Manager Reporting Relationships:
This position reports directly to executive leadership and currently has no direct reports.
About You:
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
- Possess 5+ years of B2B account management or client relationship management experience in engineering or technical services
- Demonstrate a proven track record of growing existing accounts, maintaining high client retention, and driving repeat business
- Exhibit strong consultative selling skills with the ability to articulate complex technical engineering capabilities
- Possess familiarity with or strong willingness to learn power industry tools such as NEC, AutoCAD, Revit, or EasyPower
- Display exceptional written and verbal communication skills across technical teams and executive decision-makers
- Maintain willingness to work onsite in Independence, OH and travel domestically for client site visits and industry events
- Demonstrate strong organizational skills and pipeline tracking ability within standard CRM platforms
