WHO YOU ARE

You live and breathe social media, always on the lookout for fresh trends and the latest content that captures attention. You're someone who thrives in the grey areas and can juggle a wide variety of tasks without losing sight of the big picture. You're not just a project manager, but think like a creative strategist who understands that the best influencer campaigns come from a blend of data-driven insights and bold, original ideas.

You're not content just being a spectator - you want to be the one who shapes and executes campaigns from start to finish, addressing  every detail and identifying new opportunities before they even arise. You don't shy away from complexity or ambiguity; you rise to the occasion. You understand that success in this role means being the primary strategist, the client's trusted advisor, and the person who makes things happen with influencers, all while keeping internal teams aligned.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As the Account Manager on this fast-growing automotive account, you will lead large-scale influencer marketing campaigns and independently manage projects from strategy through completion. You will oversee every stage of execution, including influencer sourcing, negotiations, content development, reporting and client communication, taking full ownership of campaign performance and delivery.

Working as part of a broader account team, you will independently lead select projects while partnering with senior account leaders on strategic initiatives such as account level projects, quarterly reporting, integrated agency team meetings and quarterly business reviews.

In this role, you may also have support from coordinators--providing opportunities to mentor junior team members, identifying new opportunities for growth, and ensuring flawless execution. Most importantly, you'll work closely with clients and cross-functional agency partners to elevate their influencer marketing programs, consistently delivering results that matter.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead High-Impact Campaigns: Oversee and manage the full execution of influencer marketing campaigns for key clients, ensuring all deliverables are met and executed to the highest standard.
  • Client Strategy & Relationship Management: Serve in a client facing manner, making strategic recommendations and guiding them through the creative and execution processes. Build and maintain strong relationships, anticipating client needs and proactively identifying new opportunities.
  • End-to-End Execution: Own the entire influencer campaign process—from ideation and influencer sourcing, through to contract negotiations, creative development, and final reporting. You will oversee the successful execution of campaigns across multiple social platforms.
  • Creative Strategy: Apply a creative mindset to identify innovative ways for influencers to connect with audiences. Lead brainstorming sessions with cross-functional partners and build briefs that push the creative boundaries of each campaign.
  • Influencer Negotiations: Manage and oversee influencer strategy, outreach, negotiations, and contracts. Be the point person for driving influencer relationships while ensuring that campaign objectives are met.
  • Data-Driven Optimization: Track, analyze, and optimize campaigns, continuously assessing performance and sharing insights to improve future strategies. Make data-backed recommendations to clients that drive tangible business results.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, creative, and production teams to ensure alignment with client goals and strategy.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 3+ Years of Agency/Campaign Experience: Proven track record in managing influencer marketing campaigns and client relationships, particularly in high-pressure environments.
  • Social Media Expert: Deep understanding of digital and social media, particularly across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. You know what works and what doesn't, and can pivot quickly in a fast-moving landscape.
  • Exceptional Project Manager: Detail-oriented with the ability to juggle multiple high-priority projects at once. You thrive in fast-paced environments and can easily manage competing deadlines without compromising quality.
  • Influencer Landscape Savvy: Strong grasp of the influencer marketing ecosystem, with hands-on experience negotiating influencer contracts, managing deliverables, and driving engagement.
  • Creative & Strategic: You bring a creative mindset and the ability to think outside the box, constantly pushing the envelope with fresh ideas that align with client objectives.
  • Client-Centric & Proactive: You don't just react to client needs—you anticipate them. You know how to manage client expectations and deliver innovative, results-driven strategies.
  • Comfortable with Complexity: You can navigate complex, regulated industries and handle the intricacies of compliance, legal guidelines, and cross-team dynamics with ease.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in using influencer marketing tools, analytics, and reporting platforms.
  • Experience in Talent Management CRM Platforms.
  • Experience working with clients in the automotive industry or other heavily regulated verticals.

Location: This role is open to hybrid or fully-remote work within the United States, with priority given to candidates in the greater Los Angeles and New York regions.

The expected salary range for this role is $80,000–$100,000 USD, depending on experience.
