    Account Manager - Employee Benefits

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    What You'll Do / Your ImpactClient Partnership & Risk Strategy
    • Support clients with coverage placement renewals claims coordination policy analysis and daily benefit service needs
    • Collaborate with carriers and internal teams to resolve claim billing and benefit related issues
    • Serve as a direct point of contact for clients and employees handling inquiries and providing guidance on benefit programs
    • Contribute to retention and growth initiatives by delivering proactive service and supporting renewal strategies
    Operational Excellence
    • Maintain documentation in agency management systems ensuring accuracy and completeness of client records
    • Ensure compliance with benefit plan requirements enrollment processes and regulatory standards
    • Support audits reporting and administrative functions related to benefits programs
    • Assist with enrollment processes including eligibility updates qualifying events terminations proposals and plan design clarification
    • Track and respond to client inquiries in a timely and professional manner
    Strategic Contribution
    • Assist in identifying coverage gaps benefit issues and opportunities to improve client outcomes
    • Partner on new business opportunities by supporting producers with prospect and proposal activities
    • Support renewal planning and implementation of changes to benefit programs
    • Contribute to knowledge sharing training and mentoring across the team

    QUALIFICATIONS

    What You BringRequired
    • High school diploma or equivalent with strong relevant experience
    • Experience in employee benefits client service or insurance related environment
    • Active Life and Health license
    • Strong communication and relationship management skills
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
    Preferred
    • College degree preferred
    • Three years of employee benefits experience
    • Knowledge of benefit enrollment systems compliance and plan design
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word Excel Outlook and PowerPoint

    ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

    Compensation:
    Salary range: $55,000-65,000 per year
